Message from the Principal

As principal of St. Philomene School it is my pleasure to welcome you to our school. St. Philomene Catholic School is a culturally competent diverse community that focuses on academic excellence, personal attention and faith in action. As the first Catholic School in the Arden Arcade area 70 plus years ago, we have a rich tradition of community, faith and family.

Our faith based school has increased its program offerings over the years to provide our students an education that is challenging, exciting and socially relevant.

St. Philomene is a Transitional Kindergarten through eighth grade Spanish Dual Language Immersion School. Our Spanish Dual Language Immersion instructional program is currently offered in TK-5th grade with an additional grade added yearly. We provide STEM programs, (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) for our students in grades K-8 to ensure that they are prepared for the 21st century world.

We are proud to say that our students leave St. Philomene School with a solid foundation in academics, cultural awareness, faith, service and community.
