Plan de Estudios
El currículo de la Escuela St. Philomene está guiado por los Estándares de Contenido Curricular de la Diócesis de Sacramento/Estándares Estatales y por las Expectativas de Aprendizaje Escolar (SLEs, por sus siglas en inglés). La Escuela St. Philomene utiliza un sistema de calificación basado en estándares desde Kindergarten Transicional hasta quinto grado. Los grados sexto a octavo utilizan calificaciones tradicionales con letras. Los estándares curriculares en inglés y español sirven como base para la instrucción. Los mapas curriculares de cada grado incluyen los estándares que se enseñan, el enfoque u objetivo de las lecciones y las evaluaciones del aprendizaje.
La identidad católica y la formación en la fe están integradas en el currículo a través de verdades y valores religiosos, apreciando la creación del mundo por parte de Dios.
Curriculum
The curriculum at St. Philomene School is driven by the Diocese of Sacramento Curriculum Content Standards/State Standards and the School-Wide Learning Expectations (SLEs). St. Philomene School uses Standards Referenced Grading in grades TK to fifth grade. Grades sixth through eighth are traditional letter grades. Curriculum standards in both English and Spanish are used as the foundation for instruction. Curriculum maps for each grade level include the standards being taught, the focus/objective of the lessons, and assessments of learning.
Catholic identity and faith formation are integrated into the curriculum through religious truths and values by appreciating God's creation of the world.
